While our recipes are secret, we can tell you that we use corn, wheat, malted barley, and an assortment of botanicals.  Corn is the main ingredient, and wheat gives the spirit a smoother taste.

  Malted barley helps bring out the natural sugars in the grains that are eventually turned into alcohol barley. It also gives our spirits a quality taste.

  Some distillers will use raw sugar and skip the grain. While it takes more time, energy and money to use grains for our fermenting sugar, we feel that our mix of grains gives Colorado Gold spirits a superior flavor that raw sugar just won't provide.
